James Farina has joined The Village Bank as business development officer. Working from the Bank’s Newtonville branch, he will be responsible for building strategic relationships and working partnerships with businesses throughout the area.
Farina is the former president and treasurer of Farina Chrysler-Jeep in Marlborough, where he managed the overall operations of a car dealership with annual sales revenues in excess of $15 million.
A Newton native who now resides in Dover, Farina attended Newton public schools and received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Boston College. He went on to earn an MBA from Suffolk University. He is a member of Delta Mu Delta, a national business honor society.
Farina serves on the board of directors of Woodland Golf Club and is a Notary Public. He is a past member of the National Automobile Dealers Association and the Massachusetts Automobile Association.
