Lexington-based Grace Chapel has purchased a 29,201-square-foot function hall at 128 West St. in Wilmington.
The Wilmington property was purchased for $3 million, according to The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. It was last assessed for $2.2 million.
"The property is an ideal fit for Grace Chapel because of its highway visibility, large parking area and current function hall build-out, which is almost turn-key for Grace Chapel," said James Stubblebine, of Lexington-based The Stubblebine Co./CORFAC International.
Stubblebine represented the buyer and worked directly with the seller in the transaction, according to a statement.
Grace Chapel plans to use the Wilmington building, which sits on 4.219 acres, as a second campus.
