Lance Mackey has joined private banking and wealth management company First Republic Bank as managing director in Boston.

Prior to joining First Republic, Mackey worked for Citizens Bank. Earlier in his career, he worked for Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase and The Boston Co.

As a relationship manager, Mackey will serve as a single point of contact to a team of First Republic professionals who provide banking, investment management, trust, brokerage and real estate lending services, according to a statement. He will work out of works First Republic’s Boston office at 160 Federal Street.

In addition to the Federal Street location, San Francisco-based First Republic also operates an office at 772 Boylston St. in Boston.
