Marlborough Savings Bank has promoted Jim Cronin to Business Development Officer.

Cronin was previously the manager of the bank’s main branch.

Marlborough Savings Bank is a participant in the Massachusetts Banking Partners Small Business Loan Program and Cronin is spearheading the outreach to local small business owners, the bank said.

The program – known as Banking Partners – was developed to promote the creation of jobs by offering loans for expansion, new construction, and/or equipment for small business.

Taking Cronin’s place as the branch manager is Tracy Bartucca, who previously managed Marlborough Savings’ Southborough office.
