The Massachusetts Building Congress (MBC) recently inducted three companies into the 2010 MBC Hall of Fame.

Boston’s Shawmut Design and Construction, CBT Architects and Milford’s Barker Steel were honored for the contributions each has made to the building industry, clients and the community, according to a statement.

"These organizations provide ample inspiration for others to follow," said Mark David, MBC president and managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle.

Eight other MBC Hall of Fame companies have been inducted since it was first established in 2007, according to a statement. These include Walsh Brothers, Symmes Maini & McKee Assoc., Partners Healthcare, S&F Concrete Construction, Bond Brothers J.C. Cannistraro, Boston University, William A. Berry, Wentworth Institute of Technology and The Marr Cos.
