Nonprofit microfinance organization Accion has completed its new headquarters in Cambridge.

Accion relocated from Charlestown to a new, 19,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at 10 Fawcett St. in Cambridge. It features modern finishes and custom millwork, mirroring the look of the company’s D.C. office.

"The move went well and people are loving the new space," Livy Parsons, chief financial officer of Accion, said in a statement.  "It was like a first day of school for many and we are really in a much better place. All the efforts of the project team have truly paid off well for us and we look forward to many successful years at Fawcett Street."

Diversified Project Management assisted with the lease review and provided comprehensive owner’s representative services including budget and schedule oversight, construction administration, move management and disposition of the old space. The project team also included general contractor, Vantage Builders and Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. for architectural and engineering services.
