Middlesex Savings Bank will establish a new full-service branch in Sherborn, taking over a location that Santander plans to vacate in June.

Pending regulatory approvals, Middlesex Savings Bank will open up shop at 31 North Main St. in September.

“We are excited to establish a full-service branch in Sherborn,” Dana Neshe, executive vice president and chief community banking officer, said in a statement. “We have always considered the town to be part of the Middlesex community and this new branch will allow us to more conveniently serve and support our Sherborn customers.”

Middlesex Savings Bank has 29 branch offices across 23 towns. This branch will be its first in Sherborn.
