New England Certified Development Corp. (CDC New England) has won the Veterans Award, issued by the National Association of Development Cos. (NADCO).
The award is given to the top 10 certified development companies in the United States by loan volume delivered to veterans.
"We are delighted to be recognized as the number one ranked CDC in New England in terms of loan volume to veterans and one of the top 10 lenders nationally. We salute their service to our country, honor their sacrifices and support their efforts to grow our economy and create jobs." Paul Flynn, chief operating officer of CDC New England, said in a statement. "We remain committed to providing financing to our nation’s veterans through the SBA 504 loan program for real estate and equipment."
NADCO has partnered with the Small Business Administration (SBA) in its "pledge to veterans" with a goal to increase SBA lending to veterans by 5 percent per year for the next five years. NADCO launched the VetLoan Advantage program just before Memorial Day 2013.
CDC New England, an affiliate of BDC Capital, provides SBA 504 loans to businesses with low, 10 and 20-year fixed rates and 90 percent financing to acquire real estate as well as machinery and equipment for expansion or renovation.
