Northwood Investors LLC has purchased the 358-room Radisson Hotel Boston from John Philopoulos Assoc. Trust (JPA Trust) for an undisclosed sum.
The CBRE Hotels team of Dave McElroy, first vice president, and Scott Hutchinson, vice president, represented JPA Trust.
The property was assessed at $43.96 million in fiscal 2010, according to data obtained from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
"This property has been part of our lives and our families for 40 years," Lou Vinios, president of JPA Trust, said in a statement. "My grandfather, father and uncles developed this from the ground up, and we are proud of the tradition of quality that we have achieved and maintained. It is bittersweet to move on, but we are very happy to have found a buyer, Northwood Investors, that will continue that pride of ownership."
The Radisson, at 200 Stuart St., sits at the intersection of three key Boston neighborhoods – Back Bay, the Financial District and the Theater District.
"We are very proud to have represented John Philopoulos Associates Trust in this transaction," said McElroy. "Northwood Investors LLC has acquired a premier lodging and parking asset in one of the most sought-after locations in Boston."
