Nuance Communications Inc. has signed a long-term lease of 27,500 square feet of first class office space at 675 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge. Nuance will occupy two full floors in the 14-story first class office building owned by Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation.

Occupancy is scheduled for the fall 2013 following interior construction. Nuance is moving from its current Cambridge location at 17 Dunster Street. The company’s worldwide headquarters is located in Burlington.

675 Massachusetts Ave. is a 127,615-square-foot first class office building that adjoins 130 Bishop Allen Drive to form 200,000-square-foot Central Plaza. It features a modern design, high end finishes, walkway and panoramic views of the Charles River, Harvard University, MIT and the Boston skyline. A significant capital improvements program including lobby renovations is now under way. Other tenants in 675 Mass. Ave. include Harmonix Music Systems, ETEX and Workbar.
