Jonathan C. Oglebay has been promoted to vice president and chief financial officer of Oxford’s Hometown Bank.

In his new position, Oglebay will oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, audit and tax preparation and financial planning.

During the eight years Oglebay has been with the bank, he has served as senior accountant and controller and later assistant vice president and treasurer. He is also Hometown Bank’s corporate information security officer and trust officer.

Oglebay of Worcester holds a master’s degree in business administration from Boston College, and earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
