Aaron Smith P.C.

Jeremy M. Leblond and Pierce R. Keefe have become shareholders and directors at Longmeadow-based tax preparation firm Aaron Smith P.C. Leblond, who was been with the firm since 2010, works directly with clients and manages audits, reviews and compilations. He also oversees and guides professional development opportunities for staff while performing day-to-day managerial tasks.

Pierce R. Keefe has been a member of the firm since 2011 and currently serves as the firm’s tax director. In his role, he is charged with focusing on corporate, partnership, individual and multistate tax issues, federal and state tax audits, and estate and gift taxation.

 

Arrowstreet

Kate Bubriski has been promoted to director of sustainability and building performance at Boston-based architecture and design firm Arrowstreet. Bubriski will lead Arrowstreet’s environmental and sustainability initiatives. She will develop and educate staff about new sustainable design concepts, certifications and energy codes.

 

Cape Cod Five

Suzanne Berry has been named branch manager of Cape Cod Five’s East Harwich banking center. Berry joined Cape Cod Five in 2007 and most recently served as branch manager of the bank’s Harwich Port location.

 

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

Mark E. Linehan has joined the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod as the bank’s new senior vice president, CFO and treasurer. Linehan was the senior vice president and CFO of the bank for five years during its heavy growth period, prior to it being sold in 2016.

 

Columbia Construction Co.

Bill Sayles has joined Boston-based Columbia Construction as director of life science services. Sayles comes to the firm with over 25 years of experience working in the life sciences industry, and has vast knowledge of all phases of project management. He will be responsible for the oversight of all life science projects.

 

Country Bank

Jodie Gerulaitis has been promoted to vice president of community relations at Ware-based Country Bank. Gerulaitis has been with Country Bank for 24 years in various positions and holds several certifications from the Center for Financial Training. She is currently attending The New England School for Financial Studies, serves as a local treasurer of The Salvation Army and is on the West Brookfield Elementary and Stanley M. Koziol School Councils.

 

East Boston Savings Bank

Joel Olson has been appointed assistant vice president and branch manager of East Boston Savings Bank’s branch at 181 Brighton Ave. in Allston. Prior to joining East Boston Savings Bank, Olson was assistant vice president and financial center manager for Bank of America at various locations throughout Greater Boston.

 

First Financial Trust

Stephen Riley has joined First Financial Trust, a fully owned subsidiary of The Savings Bank, as a vice president and investment officer. Riley will work out of the bank’s Wakefield headquarters. Prior to joining First Financial Trust, he was associated with New England Investment & Retirement Group as a registered investment advisor, with Morgan Stanley as a registered financial advisor in Middleton and with Fidelity as a financial services representative in Merrimack, New Hampshire.

 

Florence Bank

Florence Bank has promoted David Limero to vice president and information technology manager. Limero joined Florence Bank in March 2015. Prior to his recent promotion, Limero was the assistant vice president and project manager at Florence Bank.

 

R.H. White

Thomas Descoteaux, senior vice president of the R.H. White Cos., received the 2017 Kenneth O. Hodgson Distinguished Service Award from the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA)

The award recognizes outstanding service to NEWWA and the waterworks industry. Descoteaux was presented with the award at the 136th NEWWA Annual Conference in Brewster.

 

The Savings Bank

Dianne Chandler has joined The Savings Bank as vice president and cash management. Chandler holds more than 20 years of experience in bank deposit products and services, and will be responsible for sales, product development, implementation, customer service, relationship management and marketing of products for businesses. She will be working in The Savings Bank’s main office in Wakefield.

 

STV|DPM

Matt Keys has joined the Newton office of owners’ project management services provider STV|DPM as a director of business development. Keys will be working closely with clients to evaluate their real estate, design, construction and relocation needs. Prior to joining the firm, Keys spent the past six years in commercial real estate as a senior associate in brokerage and as a research analyst.
