Bristol County Savings Bank, based in Taunton, announced four promotions to assistant vice president and branch manager: Angelebeth Faria, Monica Furtado, Marlene Lira and Christine Paredes in the bank’s East Freetown, downtown New Bedford, New Bedford-Ashley Boulevard and Fall River offices.

Brookline Bank

Brookline Bank announced it had hired Peter F. Smith as a senior vice president in its C&I banking unit. He was most recently an executive at Citibank focusing on the Boston market.

Cape Cod 5

Hyannis-based bank Cape Cod 5 announced that Laura Newstead, its chief human resources officer, has been promoted to first executive vice president.

CBRE

Commercial real estate brokerage CBRE announced it had hired Michael Joyce as a vice chairman in its Boston office. Joyce was previously vice chair of Cushman & Wakefield’s Boston leasing practice.

Consigli Construction Co.

Milford-based Consigli Construction Co. announced it has hired James Kehoe as director of advanced technology, leading the company’s business development strategy in the “advanced technology” market.

Cornerstone Bank

Cornerstone Bank, based in Worcester, said Vice President David Sabourin is retiring from his commercial lender post.

Country Bank

Country Bank, based in Ware, announced that Mary McGovern has been promoted to president and chief operating officer.

Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston 

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston announced that Kenneth Willis, senior vice president and director of housing and community investment, has been promoted to the bank’s management committee.

­­Greenberg Traurig

Law firm Greenberg Traurig has hired Mark Lazar as a shareholder in its Boston office’s global real estate practice group.

MassDevelopment

MassDevelopment, the state’s quasi-public economic development lender, announced the hiring of Transformative Development Initiative Fellow Misha Thomas. Thomas, who formerly headed up business development at CommonWealth Kitchen, will focus on economic development in Taunton for then next two years.

MountainOne Bank

North Adams-based MountainOne Bank has hired Jay Bianchi as an assistant vice president on its residential lending team, covering the Berkshires and sitting on the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act committee. Previously, he worked for NBT Bank in an unspecified role.

Naveo Credit Union 

Somerville-based ­­Naveo Credit Union said it has hired Brenda Tam as its new senior vice president and chief financial officer. She was previously vice president of treasury at Cambridge Savings Bank.
