Boston Private, M&M Consulting and Pentucket Bank are among those institutions announcing changes to personnel in this week’s roundup.

 

Berkshire Bank

Berkshire Bank has promoted Allan Costello to executive vice president of home lending. Costello has 30 years of experience in the banking industry with expertise in risk management, compliance, accounting, internal audit and operations. He is responsible for managing and supervising the bank’s home lending division and will serve as a member of the executive management team. He will work with loan origination, underwriting, compliance processing and serving. Costello joined the bank in 2011.

 

Boston Private

Boston Private has named Charles N. Nilsen as senior vice president and national director of residential lending. Nilsen brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry to his new role. His responsibilities include managing mortgage growth and strategy for banking and wealth relationship development across Boston Private’s New England and California markets and working closely with operational partners. Previously, Nilsen was New England regional sales manager at EverBank.

 

Bristol County Savings Bank

Bristol County Savings Bank has promoted:

  • Timothy A. Chaves to vice president of commercial lending. Previously, he served as assistant vice president of commercial lending, commercial loan officer and a management trainee at the bank.
  • Alissa E. Hall to assistant vice president of commercial lending in Attleboro. Prior to her appointment, Hall served as a commercial loan officer, commercial lender, commercial credit analyst, senior auditor, audit assistant and teller for the bank.
  • Stephen M. Hardy to assistant vice president of commercial lending for the Rhode Island area. Before his most recent promotion, Hardy served as a commercial loan officer, commercial lender and a commercial credit analyst and lending trainee in the bank’s credit department.
  • Michael P. Patacao to assistant vice president of commercial lending for the bank’s south coast area. Prior to his appointment, he served as commercial loan officer for the south coast area and branch manager of the bank’s Dartmouth branch.

 

Direct Federal Credit Union

Direct Federal Credit Union has named Kristen Johnson as marketing manager. Her responsibilities include directing the credit union’s marketing initiatives including public relations, advertising and social media. Prior to joining Direct Federal, she was an account manager for the Needham-based advertising agency Baldwin/Clancy/Rogan for more than seven years.

 

M&M Consulting

M&M Consulting LLC, a New England-based risk management advisor to financial institutions, has named J. Jeffrey Sullivan as

Pentucket Bank

Pentucket Bank has promoted the following:

  • Leanne M. Petrou to vice president of marketing and community relations officer. Petrou has been with Pentucket Bank for over five years and is responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing efforts, public relations and community outreach activities for the bank.
  • Patricia Guerin to assistant vice president and senior branch manager of Westgate Branch. Guerin has been employed by Pentucket Bank since 2008 and has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry.

  • Adam Mead to assistant vice president and commercial loan officer in the bank’s Southern New Hampshire market where he previously served as assistant vice president and commercial loan portfolio manager. Mead has been with Pentucket Bank for over three years of his seven year banking career.
  • Katherine Castro to assistant vice president and mortgage loan officer. Castro has been employed by Pentucket Bank for almost eight years and worked as a customer service representative and then assistant branch manager and moved to the mortgage loan department in 2013.
