Matthew PierceMatthew Pierce has been promoted to senior vice president of commercial lending at Leader Bank.

Pierce joined the Leader Bank team in September 2008 as the vice president of commercial lending. Prior to joining Leader Bank, Pierce served as a commercial loan officer for The Village Bank.

"With over 10 years of experience in the commercial lending department, Mr. Pierce is well prepared to take on the additional responsibilities that come with his new position," said Sushil Tuli, president and CEO. "We are looking forward to having Matthew Pierce on the team as a senior vice president, and have no doubt that he will continue providing superior service to the small businesses and commercial borrowers that receive financing from Leader Bank."

During Pierce’s time at Leader Bank, the commercial loan division has been nominated with the preferred lender status by the Small Business Administration (SBA); has been voted as the lender of quarter in 2009; and voted as one of the top lenders to small businesses in 2010 by the SBA, according to a statement.
Pierce will continue to work with the commercial loan division to monitor and expand Leader Bank’s portfolio of commercial loans. Pierce will be responsible for originating new commercial real estate and business loans and will also participate in the financial analysis of commercial loan operations and its’ portfolio management.
