An entertainment complex including 69 racing simulators has set an April 22 opening date at WS Development’s Seaport portfolio in Boston.

The 15,500-square-foot F1 Arcade is the first U.S. venue for the British racing-themed concept, which has locations in London and Birmingham.

The 2-story complex at 87 Pier Four Boulevard features 69 racing simulators, a 37-foot-long bar and 2,400-square-foot private club with capacity for up to 200 people.

Founded by Adam Breeden, who is co-founder of the Puttshack indoor miniature golf concept which is another Boston Seaport tenant, F1 Arcade’s British venues have attracted over 400,000 visitors. The company plans additional U.S. expansion beginning with a Washington, D.C. location in late 2024.

Ariel Foxman, vice president at WS Development, said in a statement the new arrival “further adds to Seaport’s unparalleled mix of experiential entertainment and dining options.”
