Coldwell Banker New England has picked up a founding member of Compass’ South Shore office.

The real estate company announced that The Kevin Lewis Group, led by Kevin Lewis, had swapped its Compass affiliation for Coldwell Banker after six years.

“We are thrilled to join Coldwell Banker Realty,” Lewis said in a statement. “This move allows us to elevate our renowned customer service by aligning with a brand that has such a strong presence in the local market and beyond. We look forward to leveraging the extensive resources and support offered by Coldwell Banker Realty to better serve our clients.”

The Kevin Lewis Group closed nearly $500 million in sales volume during its time at Compass, constantly earning the team a spot on the Real Trends America’s ranking of top producers according to self-reported statistics. Since 2011, he has sold over $1 billion in real estate, according to Coldwell Banker, making him one of the youngest agents in the commonwealth to achieve such success.

“We are excited to welcome Kevin and his team to Coldwell Banker Realty,” Kara Flanagan, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Hingham said in a statement. “Their presence elevates our standing in Hingham and other markets in Greater Boston and along the South Shore. We look forward to supporting them as they take their business to the next level.”

In 2022, Compass also ended the practice of offering stock and cash incentives to get real estate agents to sign on with the brokerage. Still, the brokerage reported that the removal of this bonus didn’t affect the ability to acquire talent.

Coldwell Banker made some significant additions over the last 12 months as the DelRose McShane Team, which previously operated the RE/MAX Revolution office in Watertown, is now affiliated with Coldwell Banker’s Belmont office. The team is led by Mike DelRose Sr., Mike DelRose Jr. and Bobby McShane.

DelRose Jr. chaired the Greater Boston Association of Realtors grievance committee from 2022 to 2024, and was a member of its strategic planning committee in 2023. He was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2018, recognizing his $1 million in gross commission income.
