Boston developer Related Beal has acquired a 6,000-square-foot commercial property in downtown Boston through Bushari real estate group.

The developer, which works on both commercial and residential properties, picked up 370 Harrison Ave. for $8 million from the Ho-Kong Bean Sprout Factor Inc., which operates a wholesaling business currently occupying the building.

The property sits at the junction of the South End, South Boston and the Leather District – an area that Bushari’s Eric Tam, who brokered the sale, said is in a transformative stage, with commercial sales helping to “revamp” the industrial activity once there.

“The area is going to continue to change,” Tam said, “and it’s going to be the bridge that makes downtown Boston whole again.”
