The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation has given 10 $2,500 scholarships to college-bound high school students in the MetroWest area. 

The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation and a committee formed by the principal of each school selected the recipients. They based their decisions on academic achievement, community involvement, character and financial need.

The following students received scholarships: AJ Bottoms, a Blackstone Valley Technical High School graduate who will attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Alexa DeMasse, a Learning Prep School Newton graduate who will attend Salem State, Keara DeRose, a Tri-County Regional Vocational High School graduate who will attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Amanda Leeland, a Bellingham High School graduate who will attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Colleen McLoughlin, a Medfield High School graduate who will attend Cornell University, Maddie Chambers, a Waltham High School graduate who will attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Melanie Martins, a Milford High School graduate who will attend Boston University, Mikey Jimenez, a Newton North High School graduate who will attend the University of New Hampshire, Olivia Bradley, a Foxborough High School graduate who will attend the University of San Francisco, and Tamsyn Withers, a Franklin High School graduate who will attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
