Rockland Trust this week announced that it has hired Don Hause to help expand its investment management group services throughout Boston and into Southern New Hampshire.

Hause joined the bank as vice president and financial consultant with more than 28 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, debt and equity financing, real estate investment management and general business consulting. Previously, he was cofounder and managing partner at the real estate advisory firm Meridian Partners. He’s worked with hundreds of businesses in the technology, life science, manufacturing and professional services sectors, Rockland Trust said in a statement.

Hause is also involved with several nonprofit organizations, including The Mass General Hospital Cancer Center and Catholic Charities North. He was also a member of Gov. Charlie Baker’s finance committee and a member of the Swampscott Zoning Board of Appeals.
