Boston-based Eastern Bank has hired Levon Sarian as a vice president and mortgage loan officer in its consumer and home financing division. 

Sarian works out of Eastern Bank’s Newton office, handling mortgages in the eastern Massachusetts area.  He is a lifelong mortgage professional.

Eastern Bank is the largest and oldest mutual bank in the country, with $9.5 billion in assets and more than 100 branches serving communities in eastern Massachusetts and southern and coastal New Hampshire.
