Boston-based Sovereign Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Santander Holdings USA Inc., joined The Salvation Army and students and volunteers from Boston’s Ray and Joan Kroc Corps. Community Center to celebrate the official naming of the Santander classroom.
The newly named Santander classroom was built with help from a $200,000 grant from Sovereign Bank. It houses the center’s after school program, Kids FEAST (Food, Enrichment, Arts, Spiritual Development and Teaching) as well as other Salvation Army programs.
The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps. Community Center of Boston provides support and services to underserved children and families in Boston.
