Marlborough-based St. Mary’s Credit Union contributed $26,000 to the Metrowest Boys & Girls Club this week.
The donation supports the club’s summer camp scholarships, after school programs, the annual golf tournament and the annual Bids for Kids fundraising gala.
"Our wonderful partnership with St. Mary’s enables us to serve over 600 kids a day at our three clubhouses in Marlborough, Hudson and Framingham," said Fran Hurley, president of the Metrowest club.
Jack Caulfield, president and CEO of the credit union, called the donation a "smart investment," adding, "We recognize the importance of such programs to our youth and to the overall quality of life in our communities."
