MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division has been named among the top providers overall for both its recordkeeping/administration and investment services in the 401kExchange Mid-Year Ratings.
Springfield-based MassMutual was named a top-performing provider overall for Investment Services in the $10 million to $100 million asset category. MassMutual also earned high marks for Investment Services and Recordkeeping/Administration in both the $1 million to $10 million and the under $1 million markets. The firm scored well in the categories of investment options, education/ communication, and fund performance, as well as plan administration, recordkeeping, and customer service.
"Our survey results are just one of many indicators that MassMutual’s customer satisfaction is at its highest level ever," said Elaine Sarsynski, executive vice president of MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division and chairman and CEO of MassMutual International LLC.
401kExchange polled thousands of plan sponsors, asking them to rate their investment platform and recordkeeper. Ratings are based on the percentage of 401(k) plan sponsors who rated their providers a "4" or a "5" on an ascending scale of one to five for overall quality and specific strengths in key areas such as investment fees and investment education.
