TD Bank has promoted Juan R. Alvarado to assistant vice president and store manager of the location at 150 Main St. in Amesbury.

In his new role, he is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers in the North Shore area.

Alvarado has seven years of retail banking experience and joined TD Bank in 2011, most recently working as assistant store manager in Ipswich. Alvarado is a member of the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce and the Amesbury Lions Club.
