Three financial service leaders have been promoted at Pittsfield’s Legacy Banks.
Lynne Carlotto has been elected to vice president for compliance; Scott Schiff has been promoted to vice president for sales and business development; and Timothy Collins has been elected loan officer for Legacy Real Estate Finance, Legacy’s national commercial real estate lending program.

Williar Dunlaevy, chief executive officer. "We look forward to their continued success in these expanded roles."
Carlotto most recently served as assistant vice president of compliance and security with Legacy, a position she held since 2005. Prior to that, she was compliance and security officer at Legacy. Carlotto previously worked in similar capacities at Berkshire Bank and Great Barrington Savings Bank. She holds an associate’s degree in business management from Fisher Junior College and an associate’s degree in business careers banking from Berkshire Community College. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts School for Financial Studies.
Schiff began his tenure with Legacy in December 2006 as a mortgage originator, before being promoted earlier this year to assistant vice president of business development. Prior to joining Legacy Banks, he owned and operated East Street AutoMall, an auto dealership. A native of Berkshire County, he was educated locally at Berkshire Country Day School and The Hall School. He also attended the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conn.
Collins has served as an analyst with Legacy Real Estate Finance (LREF) since September 2006, where he worked with mortgage correspondents and evaluated new commercial real estate loan opportunities through underwriting and analysis. Prior to joining LREF, he served as a teller in Legacy’s Great Barrington office. Collins holds a MBA and a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Isenberg School of Management at UMass.
