A former Ford dealership at 1022-1036 Main St. in Waltham has sold for $5.5 million and is set to be redeveloped into a 45,000-square-foot retail strip center named Main Street Marketplace.
New tenants at the 3.5-acre space include Panera Bread, Chipotle, Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Supercuts, according to a statement.
Robert L. Coleman of Coleman & Sons Appraisal Group represented the seller, Main St. Realty Trust. Robert W. Francis, of R.W. Francis & Co. represented the buyer, Ross P. Hamlin of Waltham Ventures LLC.
According to Francis, Waltham Ventures also purchased the former Bickfords Restaurant space at 1006 Main St. adjacent to the former Ford dealership for $1.6 million, with the one-acre site becoming the main entrance and parking for Main Street Marketplace.
