Tia Zaferakis, a realtor at Jack Conway & Co., was recently named the 2009 mid-year top selling agent for both her South Boston office and companywide.

Zaferakis, who has been an agent for six years, specializes in the South Boston condominium market, but she has extended her service to homes in the South End and parts of Milton. On an average weekend, she hosts about a dozen open houses on her listings.

Chairman Jack Conway described Zaferakis as "one of the hardest working realtors" he has ever met.

Born and raised in South Boston, Zaferakis attended Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy in Brighton and earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Northeastern University.

She had previously worked in sales and marketing and as a marketing director in the hospitality industry.
