A developer active in Everett multifamily projects is proposing a 591-unit apartment complex on a 25-acre site once occupied by a General Electric factory.

V10 Development is seeking approval for an 830,000-square-foot complex known as Riverwalk. Three 5-story buildings are proposed on the site bordered by the Malden River and Chelsea Creek, with access driveways connecting to Air Force Road and Rivergreen Drive.

Designs by The Architectural Team of Chelsea include a mix of apartments ranging from studios to 3-bedroom units in 5-story buildings featuring brick facades with metal panel detailing.

The site includes vacant land and a 6.5-acre lot used as surface parking.

The developers plan to deed a 16-acre waterfront park to the city of Everett as mitigation, according to application materials submitted to the Everett Planning Board. An initial presentation is scheduled on Sept. 5 for the planning board to review the site plan.

V10 Development recently completed construction of The 600, an 85-unit apartment complex at 600 Broadway. The development firm received approval in 2021 for 21-story Sky Everett apartment tower.
