Commerce Bank has named Robert Barnhard as senior vice president and director of corporate lending and John McKenna as senior vice president and director of credit administration and workout at the bank’s main office in Worcester.

Barnhard is responsible for leading Commerce Bank’s commercial lending group, including the growth and management of the commercial loan portfolio and related deposits. McKenna oversees the bank’s commercial loan policy, regulatory guidelines and commercial credit and lending trainee program. 

McKenna had previously served as senior vice president and director of commercial lending since joining Commerce Bank in 2007. Barnhard’s previous positions include managing director and group head at LaSalle Business Credit, managing director and division head at National City Business Credit and senior vice president at Citizens Bank.
