Fall River’s BayCoast Bank has promoted Kerri A. Gomes of New Bedford to the position of residential/consumer loan operations officer.

In this role, she is responsible for overseeing residential and consumer loans. She previously served as assistant manager in loan operations. Prior to joining BayCoast Bank, she was a loan operations manager for People’s Mortgage Corp., a subsidiary of Webster Bank.

An active member of the community, Gomes is currently the treasurer of the Jeremy R. Ambra Memorial Fund and served the United Way of Fall River as a loaned executive in 2009, according to a statement.
