Taunton-based Bristol County Savings Bank’s (BCSB) charitable foundation has awarded $56,800 in grants to New Bedford and Dartmouth area nonprofit organizations.
The following organizations received grants:
• Arc of Northern Bristol County – Advocacy Resource Center of New Bedford, $7,000
• Catholic Social Services of Fall River Inc., $7,000
• Community Foundation of Southeastern Mass., $5,000
• Community Nurse and Hospice Care, $2,500
• Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts, $2,800
• My Turn, $2,500
• New Bedford Star Kids Scholarship Program Inc., $3,000
• Southcoast Children’s Theatre $2,500
• YMCA Southeastern Massachusetts, $3,500
• Zeiterion Theatre, $7,500
The grants also include a multi-year commitment to UMass Dartmouth of $10,000 for its LEADS program, according to a statement.
