The Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $5,000 grant to On the Rise, a daytime safe haven for homeless and troubled women.

"Cambridge Savings Bank’s commitment to our local community runs deep. For 12 years, they have contributed at all levels-giving money, giving time as volunteers to make our work possible, and collecting clothing and toiletries for the women in our programs," said Martha Sandler, executive director of On the Rise. "The consistency of their support is especially valued during these tough times. We look forward to working together, to keep strengthening our community."

"On the Rise gives women a safe environment after traumatic events and provides them with the tools to help them recover," said Robert M. Wilson, president of Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation and president and CEO of Cambridge Savings Bank. "The Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation is proud to support On the Rise and programs that help women in crisis."
