Farias Joins SMMA Team

Ryan Farias has been appointed director of marketing at Cambridge design firm Symmes Maini & McKee Assoc. (SMMA).

In this role, Farias’s responsibilities will include providing leadership for the firm’s marketing strategy and execution, managing the company’s marketing services team and working with SMMA principals on new client and market sector development, according to a statement. Before joining SMMA, Farias served as vice president and director of marketing for Bovis Lend Lease.

"Ryan is the perfect complement to our leadership team, and I am thrilled to have him join us," said Ara Krafian, SMMA’s CEO and president. "Ryan’s experience in development and construction will help us cultivate a more complete perspective on how SMMA can be the best design partner to clients who are taking on the challenge of a building project."
