The FBI and Bank of America are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspected serial bank robber dubbed the "bearded bandit."

Authorities think the man is responsible for three robberies in Rhode Island and one in Massachusetts.

He claimed to have a gun in three of the robberies, and in all four he threatened tellers.

He’s described as a white male, 5-feet-10 to 6-feet tall, and middle-aged. He has a dark beard with long dark hair that he sometimes tucks into a baseball cap or a blue knit hat. He is usually wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants.

He’s suspected of robbing Bank of America branches in North Providence, R.I., Warwick, R.I., and Seekonk, and a Citizens Bank in Cranston, R.I.
