Boston-based First Trade Union Bank has hired Ron Mauriello joined the bank as senior vice president of its compliance and audit division.

Mauriello comes to First Trade with more than 35 years of banking experience, the last seven of which have been in compliance roles. Prior to joining First Trade, Mauriello served as vice president of corporate compliance at State Street Corp.

"We are fortunate to have added Ron to our growing team at the bank," Shep Rainie, executive vice president and chief risk officer for First Trade, said in a statement.  "Ron’s experience in the banking industry and knowledge of the regulatory and compliance environment will serve us well as the bank continues its profitable growth through various strategies in the coming year."
