Gilbane Building Co., which is headquartered in Boston, has opened an office in Springfield in order to support the company’s growing local client list and volume of work in the area.

"Having been born and raised in Longmeadow, I have a personal connection to seeing this area flourish," said Ryan Hutchins, Gilbane New England regional manager. "From our past involvement in landmark projects like the MassMutual Convention Center to our current work at the 240,000-square-foot Longmeadow High School, we’re looking forward to being a key part of the local economy’s future growth."

Gilbane’s Springfield office is located at 1145 Main St.
