A microdistillery and craft beer taproom has signed on as the final retail tenant at The Shed, the retail building opening next year at the 4.5-million-square-foot Cambridge Crossing development.

Luminati Spirits x Lamplighter is a venture by co-founders Cayla Marvil and AC Jones, the team behind Cambridge’s Lamplighter Brewing Co.

The transaction completes leasing at The Shed, a 2-story retail building designed by Prellwitz Chilinski Assoc. at the center of Cambridge Crossing’s open space and park area. Retail brokerage Graffito SP negotiated the transaction.

Developer DivcoWest previously announced that Puritan & Co. owner Will Gilson will open a cafe, restaurant and cocktail bar in early 2020.

With the addition of Lamplighter, approximately 1.3 million square-feet of commercial space is leased at Cambridge Crossing, including the 900,000-square-foot regional headquarters of Sanofi Genzyme. An additional 480,000-square-foot office and lab building is under construction at 250 Water St.
