Boston-based Baystate Financial Services’ November acquisition of Worcester’s Strategic Financial Partners is resulting in two of its associates moving to the firm’s new Worcester office.

James J. Hoogasian and Kerri A. Melley are joining the firm’s Worcester office and will provide new strategic capabilities to it, according to a statement.

"Both Jim and Kerri bring extensive knowledge and diverse experiences and we are pleased to utilize their skill in our Worcester office," said David Porter, owner and managing partner of Baystate Financial Services.

Hoogasian, a financial advisor, helps to educate physicians, executives, professional colleagues and business owners about financial principles, according to a statement. Melley, also a financial advisor and a special needs planner, provides financial guidance to families with dependents with special needs.
