Mutual Bank has sponsored the Halifax Youth and Recreation Department’s Annual Holiday Egg Hunt with a donation of $1,000.

This is the sixth consecutive year Mutual Bank has sponsored event, according to a statement. More than 300 children are expected to participate in the Easter egg hunt on April 16 at the Halifax Elementary School Gym.

"We are delighted to once again sponsor such a highly anticipated community activity," said Julie King, branch manager of Mutual Bank at Halifax. "It’s always a rewarding experience to participate in an event that brings so much pleasure to so many children."
