Needham Bank Donates $7K To Newman Playground

The recent donation is the second such contribution, bringing the bank’s total contributions to the project to $14,000. School officials decided to demolish the former site and build a new playground after the former Newman Elementary School playground was found to be in non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The new playground, now open, is fully integrated and adaptive to the needs of all children, including those with disabilities.

Needham Bank CEO Jack McGeorge said in a statement, "It gives us enormous pleasure to support such a praiseworthy project."
