Needham Bank has promoted Michelle DeSimone to senior branch manager.

DeSimone will be responsible for the overall administration and coordination of operational, service and compliance activities for all retail branch offices. All branch managers will report to her directly.

DeSimone joined Needham Bank in October of 2010 as branch manager of the Dedham Square office, and has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry.  Her career includes a three-year post with Wainwright Bank as manager of the Newton Center office and 12 years with The Village Bank in Newton.

DeSimone is a member of the board of directors of the Foundation for Racial, Ethnic & Religious Harmony in Newton and also sits on the board of Women in Business Connection.
