North Shore Bank in Peabody announced today that it has tapped a former TD Bank vice president to head up its retail sales.

Liz White was named vice president and retail sales manager, the bank said in a press release. She has more than 30 years of retail branch and district level management experience and most recently worked for TD Bank as the retail market manager for 17 locations on the North Shore. Prior to that, she was a vice president and district executive for Sovereign Bank.

“We’re delighted to have Liz join our team,” Kevin M. Tierney Sr., president and COO of North Shore Bank, said in a statement. “Her knowledge of the financial service industry and her commitment to excellence will be a tremendous asset to the bank and our customers, as we continue to grow as a local community bank with 127 years of experience.”

White also held management roles at Citizens Bank, U.S. Trust and Neworld Bank early in her career.
