The board of directors of Brighton-based Peoples Federal Bancshares Inc., the holding company for Peoples Federal Savings Bank, has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 3 cents a share on the company’s common stock.

The dividend will be payable to stockholders of record as of Nov. 8, and is expected to be paid on Nov. 16.
