SBA Names Commerce Bank ‘Lender Of The Quarter’

Anne Rice Hunt, Head of Lender Relations in the U.S. Small Business Administration's Boston office, presented the SBA Lender of the Quarter Award to Commerce Bank Vice President of Commercial Lending Joseph Ledoux at the Bank's headquarters in Worcester.The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has presented Worcester-based Commerce Bank with its Lender of the Quarter Award, for the second quarter of fiscal year 2009. 

The award was presented in recognition of Commerce Bank’s level of activity in making SBA loans to small businesses in Central Massachusetts during that period. 

SBA guarantees loans made by financial institutions such as banks and credit unions.

Commerce Bank ranks as the 10th most active SBA lender in the state, according to a bank statement.
