Lowell-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union recently participated in the Rebuilding Together Lowell program by repairing and rehabilitating the home of a 67-year-old woman on Wedgemere Drive.
The Jeanne D’Arc team, which consisted of 15 employees, along with a crew of skilled professionals, reshingled the entire roof; repaired the chimney; installed new kitchen cabinets, gas stove, dishwasher and kitchen sink; scraped and painted the entire house; raked the yard; and trimmed and removed tree branches and stumps, according to a statement.
"Our employees recognize the value of community service and we were pleased to have a team contribute their time and energy to such a worthy endeavor," said Mark S. Cochran, president and CEO of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. "I am proud of the commitment our employees have to their communities and their participation in Rebuilding Together Lowell is an excellent example of their dedication."
